I am the proud mother of two children. I love them like no others. They are smart and sporty. They argue a lot too, which is annoying, but my love for them remains.
Ten months out of the year you can find me in my classroom teaching a group of 4th graders. Fourth graders are the best because they are independent, but not hormonal. Every now and then I’ll get a nose picker or one that tugs on my shirt for attention and that is unfortunate.
My drinks of choice are coffee, water and wine. I eat a gluten free diet which is usually OK but sometimes I cheat and eat something gloriously gluten filled and then I pay for it big time.
I have been divorced for over 3 years. I like to write about my divorce and single mother experiences. I find that telling others the realistic side of divorce can be helpful for me and them. Although I am a divorced woman, I am not a hater. I actually still find men very appealing and would be thrilled to find one of my own.
I have a dog who is lucky she’s a little chubby and cute and very lucky the kids love her because she gets skunked, eats out of the garbage and murders backyard critters.
